What is pilates?

Pilates is the physical & mental exercise that strengthens and stretches the whole body through the controlled motion from powerhouse. The goal is to achieve overall fitness by training the mind and body in harmony. Joseph Pilates defined its method as Contrology, which you have an authority to control your own body by reawakening numerous dormant muscle cells.

While practicing Pilates, keep in mind the 6 principles to apply to each movement; Breath, Center, Concentration, Control, Flow & Rhythm, and Precision.
